Invited by Infiniti of Scottsdale, Ms Bingle and I took a trip to Firebird Raceway with the G35 to take a drive along the West Course. We had excellent instruction from John Devine who has been racing since 1964. He said he tried to retire once but once your bitten by the bug you can never quit. There was also a demo of how traction control works in the Infiniti vehicles. I signed up to demo my ride where they soak the concrete and speed the car into the wet spot. With Justin from everythingg35.com in the passenger seat and VDC turned off, I turned the wheel and had a fun fishtail around the crowd of people. Besides Meghan trying to play chicken with a passing car along the straightaway, it was a fun day and can’t wait till October for it run again. Oh yeah and another 25 hp added to the car .. muhahahaha.
